Frequently Asked Questions

Will I need any special equipment for an at-home workout?
Our trainers are very creative, but a few key pieces of equipment can go a long way. A set of quality bands and a set or two of dumbbells (ask your trainer for your recommended weight range) are a great place to start!

How can a virtual workout help me if I have trouble with my form and doing the movements properly?
Your personal trainer will help you position your camera so they can see how you are moving. While it is not as easy to see subtle movement errors, your trainer will do their best to help you achieve the correct form.

Besides the flexibility, are there any differences between an in-person or virtual trainer?
The biggest difference is that virtual training does not allow the client to use the state-of-the-art equipment we offer at our studios. Additionally, in virtual sessions, all cueing must be verbal, unlike in an in-person session, where the personal trainer may make use of hands-on cueing.

What if I decide that virtual training isn’t for me? Can we work something out so I can have an in-person workout instead?
Our package pricing is the same for both virtual and in-person training, so where and how you train is between you and your personal trainer.

I’m interested in virtual training but am not located in Central Texas, can I still work with your gym?
For the most part, our personal training takes place in-person at one of our two studios in Austin. Virtual training is used primarily as a short-term solution if a client is traveling or has a scheduling or childcare conflict and cannot make it into the gym. We also prefer that the consultation and first workout takes place in-person, so it is best if our clients are located in the Austin area.
