Getting Started
Click here to view the Get Started page.
How do I get started?
Fill out the Get Started form here. Someone will reach out within 24 hours (one business day) to schedule your free consultation and structural balance assessment. No cost or commitment required.
What happens at the free consultation?
It’s one hour that is part conversation about your goals and history, part hands-on movement assessment. You’ll also get a free body composition analysis on our InBody machine. By the end, your personal trainer will have everything they need to build your program.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Just wear comfortable workout clothes and be ready to move. Your trainer handles the rest.
Do I need prior experience?
None at all. ASF works with complete beginners through experienced athletes. Your program is built around where you are right now.
Is there a membership or contract?
No memberships, no contracts. Sessions are sold in packages of 5, 10, or 20. You’re in control.
Personal Training

What do sessions look like?
Private 30-minute sessions with your dedicated certified trainer, by appointment only. Your trainer designs and coaches a personalized program — there’s no open gym access.
How often should I train?
Most clients train two to three times per week. Your trainer will recommend a schedule based on your goals and lifestyle.
How is my progress tracked?
Your trainer logs every session: exercises, weight, sets, and reps. Body composition is measured at regular intervals using ASF’s InBody machine. ASF also periodically hosts BodySpec for DEXA scan measurements.
Will strength training make me bulky?
No. Building significant mass requires years of very specific training and nutrition. ASF programs are built around your goals, including strength, body composition, performance, or general health.
Will I get injured during strength training?
Not with us! Strength training helps prevent injuries by improving movement patterns and correcting imbalances. Our trainers emphasize proper form and safety in every session. We start with a structural balance assessment to design a program tailored to your needs.
What should I do between sessions?
Your trainer will give you a Wellness Packet after your consultation with personalized recommendations for mobility work, stretching, and general activity guidance. For most people, a daily walk goes a long way.
Multi-Client Training
Click here to view the Multi-Client Training page.
What is multi-client training?
Two or three people train together with one certified trainer. While the clients will follow similar programs, the trainer will adjust the loads according to the needs of each client. Ideal for couples, friends, or family members who want to train together.
What if we’re at different fitness levels?
Very common, and completely fine. Coaches adjust exercises and loads for each person so everyone is appropriately challenged, even in the same session.
What if one of us can’t make it?
The attending client can purchase a package of 1-on-1 sessions so they can train solo and keep their progress on track.

What kind of gym is Austin Simply Fit?
We are a private personal training studio, not a commercial gym. All sessions are by appointment with a dedicated trainer. No open gym, no drop-ins, no crowded floors.
Is it only for women?
Not at all. ASF is woman-owned, but trains a diverse mix of genders, ages, and fitness backgrounds.
How is ASF different from other personal training options in Austin?
All trainers are W-2 employees (not contractors) who go through a paid 13-week internal training program before working with clients. The focus is always on long-term results, not selling memberships.
What can I expect in facilities and equipment at ASF?
We take pride in our two beautiful, high-end facilities. They are meticulously organized and clean, offering a comfortable experience with state-of-the-art equipment.
Is ASF involved in the Austin community?
Yes. ASF is proud of our Student Athlete Scholarship Fund, which has awarded $52,000 awarded to 45 AISD athletes since 2021. We also support DAWA, a local nonprofit serving the Austin BIPOC creative community.

Where are Austin Simply Fit’s personal training studios located?
Austin Simply Fit operates two private personal training studios in Austin, Texas: one in Central Austin near Downtown and one in the South Lamar area of South Austin. Both locations provide coach-led, strength-focused training in a private studio setting. We recommend selecting the studio that is most convenient to your daily routine. Consistency is key to long-term progress, so choosing a location near your home or workplace often leads to better adherence.

Do you offer nutrition coaching?
Yes, through Thrive, ASF’s partnership with Keyspan, an Austin-based longevity company. It starts with biomarker testing and includes a personalized health plan and ongoing coaching.
Will my trainer give me a meal plan?
No. Trainers provide general nutrition education and guidance. For clinical nutrition support, ASF can refer you to a registered dietitian.
What lifestyle habits matter most outside the gym?
Quality sleep, daily movement (even just walking), hydration, stress management, and eating enough protein. These simple habits directly affect your results in the gym. Our focus is helping clients build sustainable habits that complement their training program.

All new coaches complete a paid 13-week onboarding program through Austin Simply Fit University (ASFU), covering training science, program design, movement coaching, and hands-on practice under mentorship before coaching independently.
Do coaches keep learning after onboarding?

How does ASF ensure consistent quality across coaches and locations?
All coaches are trained within the same principles-based system, follow shared assessment and programming frameworks, and are held to the same standards. The coaching experience is consistent regardless of which trainer or studio you work with.
Matt Webb is clear and helpful explaining anytime there's a new exercise or when I need to fix my form. The workout plan he made for me takes into account my goals, and is challenging without burning me out. As someone who often gets too in their own head about exercise on my own, the best part for me is I leave every workout feeling positive and proud of my progress. Great encouraging environment!
