One-on-one personal training at Austin Simply Fit consists of private, 30-minute sessions with a certified personal trainer at one of their two Central Austin studios. Each client receives a customized training program built around their specific goals, fitness level, and schedule. Most clients train two to three times per week. Sessions are by appointment only — there’s no open gym access, and your trainer’s full attention is on you the entire session.

No experience is necessary. ASF works with complete beginners, experienced athletes, and everyone in between. Your trainer will conduct an initial consultation and structural balance assessment before your first session to understand where you’re starting from and what you’re working toward. From there, your program is built specifically for you — not a generic template.

Your first step is a free one-hour consultation that includes a structural balance assessment and a body composition analysis using ASF’s InBody machine. Your trainer will also take a blood pressure reading and gather baseline metrics that get tracked over time. This information shapes your personalized training program and gives you a concrete starting point to measure your progress against.

Your trainer keeps detailed records of every session — exercises, weight, sets, and reps — so your progress is documented and visible. Baseline metrics from your initial consultation, including body composition via our InBody machine and blood pressure, are tracked at regular intervals. ASF also periodically hosts BodySpec, which offers quick and accurate DEXA scan body composition measurements for clients who want even more detailed data.

ASF matches clients with a trainer based on schedule availability and fit. All ASF trainers complete the same rigorous 13-week onboarding program through Austin Simply Fit University, so you can trust the quality of coaching regardless of who you’re paired with. If you and your trainer aren’t the right fit for any reason, ASF will pair you with someone better suited to your needs — no questions asked.

Sessions at Austin Simply Fit are sold individually or in packages of 5, 10, or 20 sessions. There are no memberships or long-term contracts — at the end of each package you simply choose to continue. This structure puts you in control and means you’re never locked into paying for something you’re not using.

Yes — your trainer will provide a Wellness Packet after your consultation with recommendations tailored to your needs. This may include mobility work, stretching, breathing exercises, or foam rolling to support recovery and improve movement quality between sessions. For many clients, adding a daily walk is the single most impactful thing they can do outside the gym. The goal is sustainable, enjoyable movement that complements your training — not an overwhelming second program.
