Multi-Client Personal Training
Training with a partner isn’t just more fun, it’s more effective. Research shows that people who exercise with a friend or partner work harder, stay more consistent, and are less likely to quit. At Austin Simply Fit, our multi-client personal training program is built around that principle: you get the structure, accountability, and expertise of a certified personal trainer, with the added energy of someone in your corner every session.
Fitness Focused on You — Both of You
Multi-client training at Austin Simply Fit is ideal for couples, best friends, siblings, or coworkers who want to reach their fitness goals together. Sessions are 30 minutes, semi-private, and limited to two or three clients so your trainer can give each person the individual attention they need while programming workouts designed for the group.
Your trainer will design a program that gets you moving together, with movements adapted to each person’s individual level and abilities. You’re in it together, but your trainer makes sure the workout meets each of you exactly where you are. Friends push each other through hard sets and laugh through the tough moments. Couples discover new ways to connect and motivate each other. We’ve had couples train together through pregnancies and come back with their new babies — this program grows with you.
Most multi-client clients train two to four times per week. Your trainer tracks each person’s progress individually and keeps both of you accountable to the goals you set together.
What to Expect
Every new client starts with a free one-hour consultation that includes a structural balance assessment and body composition analysis using our InBody machine. This gives your trainer a clear baseline for each person before a single workout begins. From there, you’ll train in Austin Simply Fit’s private, appointment-only studio. This means no seasonal rushes, no waiting for equipment, and no distractions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Multi-client personal training at Austin Simply Fit is a semi-private training format where two or three people train together in a 30-minute session with a single certified personal trainer. Unlike group fitness classes, each person in the session receives their own individualized program designed around their specific goals — you’re just doing it side by side with a partner or friend. It’s ideal for couples, close friends, or family members who want the motivation of training together without sacrificing personalized coaching.
Multi-client training at ASF is fundamentally different from a group fitness class. In a group class, everyone follows the same workout. At ASF, although clients in a multi-client session are following a similar program, the trainer will adjust load as needed, providing progressions or regressions as needed. The trainer’s attention stays closely on the small group — typically two to three people — making it much more like personal training than a class environment.
Getting started is free. New clients receive a complimentary one-hour consultation, a structural balance assessment, and a body composition analysis — for each person in the group. From there, your trainer designs a customized program and you begin your regular training schedule. Most multi-client clients train two to three times per week, and sessions are sold individually or in packages of 5, 10, or 20 — no memberships or long-term contracts required.
Yes, and it’s actually very common. ASF coaches are trained to apply progressions and regressions to every movement, so each person is appropriately challenged even when training side by side. One partner might be lifting heavier, using a different variation, or working toward a different goal entirely — and the session is structured to accommodate that. Both people leave feeling challenged and coached, not like one person held the other back.
Life happens. If one person in your training group can’t attend a scheduled session, the other client can purchase individual one-on-one sessions to use when they’re training solo. This way you’re never stuck waiting on your partner to get back in the gym and your progress stays on track.
Multi-client sessions are capped at three clients. This intentionally small group size allows the trainer to closely monitor form, make real-time adjustments, and give each person meaningful coaching attention throughout the session — something that’s impossible in larger group settings.
Yes – the cost per person is at a significantly discounted rate, because you are sharing the time. Sessions are purchased in packages of 5, 10 or 20 sessions, with no other membership fees.
Matt Webb is clear and helpful explaining anytime there's a new exercise or when I need to fix my form. The workout plan he made for me takes into account my goals, and is challenging without burning me out. As someone who often gets too in their own head about exercise on my own, the best part for me is I leave every workout feeling positive and proud of my progress. Great encouraging environment!
