Athlete of the Month

Doiran’s told us a bit about why she loves training at Austin Simply Fit. Read below to learn more about her experience.

How long have you been working out at ASF?
I have been working out at ASF for about two months.
Why did you decide to join ASF?
I had a couple friends who joined ASF either recently or in the past. I was on the hunt to find a new gym and ASF seemed like it would be a great fit for me.
What were your goals when you started?
Overall, I wanted to start strength training. I was a dancer for most of my life and after moving to Austin, I wanted find a new way of staying active.
How close are you to meeting them?
Every session I feel I get closer and closer to my goals but I also know I still have a bunch to learn.
Why do you like working out with Lindsey?
This experience is all so new since I’ve never had the opportunity to work with a personal trainer before and Lindsey has been great since DAY 1! She is SO encouraging and understands my goals. Each session I have with her, I learn something new!
What is it about Lindsey/ASF that keeps you coming back?
The energy is always so positive as soon as I walk in the door and I feel ready to work! Whenever I leave ASF after my sessions, I feel amazing and so accomplished.
What are your goals & plans for the future at ASF?
I definitely plan on staying consistent but Powerlifting has caught my eye. I’m excited to see what happens next!
What is your favorite food?
Mac and cheese!
Any advice you’d share with a newcomer to ASF?
Be excited! You’re making a great choice I’m joining ASF, no matter where you are in your fitness journey. Stay consistent and you’ll definitely see changes for the better!
