DJ Cedent

Danel is a graduate from the University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, a Certified personal trainer, a certified CrossFit trainer and a mixed martial arts coach specializing in striking and pad drills. He has been involved in the fitness industry since 2009, training groups, individuals from all ages and level of capabilities and, successfully helping them reach their health goals.

While growing up around four athletic gifted cousins in Florida, Danel quickly developed a competitive spirit. Through high school, he played soccer, basketball, participated in track & field (100, 200, long jump & triple jump) and football where he was selected all state in back to back years. His passions for staying physically active lead him to pursue a career in fitness. He comes from a very cultured background and speaks French fluently. He has great knowledge and experience when it comes to sports specific training, endurance training, strength training, Olympic weight lifting, plyometrics exercises, weight loss and rehabilitation.

Danel is currently pursuing an education in Nutrition and continues to better himself as a trainer by researching and learning more about the physiology of the human body in fitness. He believes that you conquer any obstacles if you are willing to put in the effort. He likes to motivate his clients to challenge themselves, mind and body, thus his favorite quote is: “Always reach for the moon so when you fall, you are among stars!”
