Molly Cochran is a two-time featured athlete here at ASF. Her dedication to training and her commitment to her sport make her an unstoppable force on the field. We’re excited for her as she heads off to play softball in college in the fall!
Here’s what Coach Sierra Nevels had to say about Molly:
I’m picking Molly because she’s a hustler, an amazing softball athlete and even better human. Any coach is lucky to coach Molly – she works hard, has tremendous work ethic, she’s strong willed and very coachable. I’m very fortunate to be part of her journey. I’m excited to see was her future holds for her!
Here’s what Molly had to say about training with Coach Sierra:
In what ways has your athletic performance or physique improved? I have seen a huge improvement in my performance on the field and in the weight room. Since working with Sierra, I have gotten stronger, faster, and more explosive.
What keeps you motivated to keep training with Sierra? I’m motivated to work with Sierra because I am able to see direct results. She helps me stay consistent in the weight room and emphasizes proper technique.
What have you learned about lifting and nutrition to improve health and performance? Sierra has taught me the importance of good form and consistency in the weight room. I was never able to see results before I started working with her because I wasn’t working in the off season like I am now. Sierra has also taught me how important it is to focus on my health as well as how much I’m lifting. This means listening to my body and knowing when to rest, what to eat, and how often I need to be lifting.
What are your plans for the future? I will be attending Tarleton State University in the fall of 2023 to play Division 1 softball. I will be studying Elementary Education and plan on becoming a teacher.
