Athletes of the month: February 2017

The trainers at Austin Simply Fit personalize each workout to meet the needs and goals of every client. And we pride ourselves on being experts in all fields of fitness that we can offer these services. No matter the expertise, or the needs – there is only one thing that guarantees success and it lies solely in the clients themselves: CONSISTENCY.

February we honored three incredible clients and athletes – one from each location – that are the definitions of success. They put in more work then is asked of them, not because they didn’t get a hard workout, because they want to see themselves progress and are willing to put in the work and effort to see those goals materialize. Dottie was nominated by her trainer Amanda. They have been 
working together since Amanda started with ASF at the Leander location nearly two years ago. Dottie’s initial goals were to become stronger and help strengthen her bones through weight training. Soon after, she switched gears and wanted to do a powerlifting meet.  After a couple months of training, Dottie had taken some time off and then she started back up with Amanda at the South location. Dottie works out with Amanda three times a week and is preparing for her first powerlifting meet in March! She has become stronger, not just physically.  We can see it in her energy as she comes through the door each training session. And to top it all off she also teaches yoga and does kickboxing in addition to kicking a$$ at ASF! We asked Dottie a bit about her experience with ASF, click here to read what she had to say!



ASF CENTRAL – CONOR CUNNINGHAM:Conor Cunningham_cropped
Conor has been recognized by his trainer for Jill for 6 reason: 1) He has an extremely positive attitude every single time he walks into the gym 2) He never ever cancels 3) I can throw super challenging new workouts at him and he does it with a smile on his face! 4) Since I have trained him his strength has gone up, body fat down, muscular endurance is through the roof!!! 5) He’s super excited about his chest, shoulders and guns!!! 6) I adore him!!! Athlete of the Month

Jarred was nominated by Mark Rogers, his trainer. Jarred is receiving this honor for his consistency to getting better each training session. Jarred doesn’t miss, unless he’s getting married or traveling for work, and his progress has shown. He has the goals to stay strong and injury free, and we have been able to make that happen by making sure what he learns in the gym is applicable in his everyday life, in action and in mindset.
