As a certified personal trainer and ex-athlete I am not new to working out. At almost 8 months pregnant, however, I let myself slow down in my training and was feeling the effects. My first session with Mark Rogers was impressive and immediately effective. In just half an hour, he was able to take me through an appropriately intense yet controlled full body workout. He adjusted my positioning as needed and the channels of communication between trainer and trainee were always open. The feedback he asked from me allowed him to alter my positioning, my posture or my muscle engagement and identify how and when certain muscles should "fire". Just as important, his demeanor was motivating yet patient, stern yet encouraging. I can't wait for my subsequent work-outs with Mark and plan to work out under his supervision up to delivery date.

Krista is an amazing personal trainer! She's extremely knowledgeable, very focused on each individual client, and willing to go the extra mile to help me reach my goals. For example, she sent me a detailed email outlining a week of meals to help me overcome my queso and chips habit. Krista is the perfect balance of pushing ("Come on, you can do it, just 3 more!") and praising ("You are a machine!") (... No one has ever called me a "machine" before!!). After only 4 months, I am seeing amazing results beyond my expectations. Austin Simply Fit is a great facility, just right for their private session environment. For someone who didn't work out, it's really nice to feel like everyone is "all business" and not watching me. Their philosophy of 30-minute intense sessions is perfect for the busy parent/professional. I never really worked out consistently before, and I feel like I've finally found something I can stick with. Kudos to Krista, Mark and all the gang at Austin Simply Fit-you have a great thing going!

Austin Simply Fit can help anyone. I'm a cranky old lady and the very last thing I want to do is work out. But life was sort of passing me by, and I thought I could manage a couple of thirty minute sessions a week. Imagine my surprise when I started getting stronger, even losing a little weight. I would hesitate to say I enjoy it (lol) but the sessions are different and always interesting, and best, they are specifically tailored to my needs. This is not a cookie-cutter fitness program. This is a safe, efficient place to get fit for the rest of your life.

I don't know if I can express enough how much I love boot camp and training with Krista at ASF. It is amazing to see how much my body has changed and how much stronger I have become over the past several months. Her workouts are never redundant and are always challenging. She really pushes me beyond all the limitations I would place on myself if I were working out alone. Krista is also very knowledgeable and is always very happy to help with all of my health, nutrition and fitness goals. She even gave me a really cool metabolism test that I would recommend taking. You can tell that she really loves her job and enjoys helping people. No matter what your fitness level, from beginner to athlete, Krista's goals are for you to reach your goals. Overall, the gym itself has such a friendly and casual atmosphere. It is a very comfortable place to get a great workout and has more equipment than you could possible need. The variety is just outstanding. As soon as you walk in the door the trainers seem genuinely happy to see you. It's great to be is such a positive environment. I always look forward to being there. And if you like yoga or want to give it a try, they have that as well. I haven't tried it myself (yet) but I hear Andi is amazing. I could easily find a gym, a trainer and a boot camp here in Round Rock but honestly there isn't any reason why I would want to.

I finally came to the realization that if I wanted to get in shape I needed someone to kick my *ss and lead the way for me- I was not being successful sticking to a routine on my own and sought out some guidance. I definitely got that and more Austin Simply Fit! Having never really done any intense workouts before, I was daunted at first, but Mark has a great way of being gentle and tough at the same time, helping me push myself to reach levels I never thought I could; I 'd never be able to come close on my own. The 30 minute workout is always varied, and so efficient - it is all you need ( and sometimes all you can handle:) - there is no wasted time or movement. The studio is really nice and clean, and I never feel like I am at a gym- and they have plenty of music options too;) After 5 months I am stronger than I have ever been and see very visible changes. I don't have to worry about plateauing because all the planning and monitoring is taken care of to help me continue on the right path- I just show up;) Thanks Mark and Austin Simply Fit!

When it comes to helping someone acheive their individual goals Mark Rogers is topnotch. Not only can he help average joes become fit, but can help athletes of all kind develop speed, agility, explosiveness, and strength. Mark's personal training allowed me to develop amazing strength and explosiveness which allowed me to become a state and national powerlifting champion. Also allowed me to develop strong punching power which helped me get a 53second KO in my first amateur MMA fight.

7 years ago I had a six pack, a rockin butt and legs to die for! Life happened... I got married and had a baby. Unfortunately I let myself go. I was NOT happy with where I was with my body. I met Krista Bergeron with Austin Simply Fit in October of last year- in 3 months I've lost 10 lbs of body fat!! I even took a month off over the holidays. Krista is AWESOME! I love how she challenges and pushes me to my limit (and than some!) The atmosphere at Austin Simply Fit is comfortable and fun. I cherish my time with Krista- it's MY time and I'm getting my rockin body back! We spend hundreds of dollars a month on our car payment and thousands on our house payment. We're in our bodies 24/7 why dont people spend the money to take care of what we're constantly in?! It's well worth it.

I cannot speak highly enough of Mark at Austin Simply Fit! Aside from being an experienced personal trainer, he offers a much more unique and personalized approach to fitness than most of the gyms or boot camps I've been to in Austin. He also does an initial consult to help define your individual goals... Not to mention, 30-minute sessions a lot less daunting than an hour! :)

30 min?!! That's it??
As going through this work out I was sure he must have extended the time b/c I was pushing every muscle to my max, and ready to be done. But he would not let me quite no matter how much "explaining" I would give. Mark has that ability to get you to work every muscle to your limit and then some to get the results you came to him for!! I have worked out for many years and have not seen the results Mark has helped me accomplish. I am very impressed by his techniques, knowledge, passion, and drive.I love my trainer!!!!!!

Mark's workouts are EXACTLY what I wanted to find! No waiting for machines, no wondering how to do something for the best effect or how many to do of it or how to mix it up! His workouts are challenging but not discouraging, and the progress I have made since beginning a year ago is definitely encouraging. I am a 52-year-old woman with osteoporosis, so weight-bearing exercise is critical for me, and my medical reports since starting my workouts with Mark have either remained unchanged or in some areas actually improved. Mark is always professional, courteous, and attentive, and is always willing to talk about the mechanics of each exercise in the workout. Give him a try! He's AWESOME!

Working out with Mark has transformed my body. And I only go once a week for half an hour! Mark is extremely knowledgeable about body mechanics and can get you in the kind of shape you want to be.

Powerlifting was something I became interested in when I was in middle school. At the time, I was one of the weakest athletes in my grade, if not then THE weakest. From the seventh grade up to sophomore year in high school it seemed that I couldn’t break the mediocre barrier between the weak and strong power lifters. I felt that I was just stuck in the middle and I knew there was something missing in my training. I decided that some changing was needed and that’s when I came to Mark Rogers for help. It first started out as him writing a workout program for me and that helped out a lot, but there was still one problem. I figured any trainer can write a great workout program, but it’s up to the client/athlete to make the best of it; to push yourself and perform the lifts with good technique. It wasn’t until I trained with Mark for the first time that I learned how important and how wrong I was about technique. The first time I trained with him I learned that I was doing so many small things wrong. Even though small, it’s the details that make the difference between a mediocre athlete and a champion. I had all the heart in the world, but this whole time my training was missing a leader; in this case a trainer that knew what they were doing. He introduced me to the Westside Barbell method. Westside barbell power lifters incorporate band training for explosiveness. At first sight of these power lifters you would think that they are a bunch of beer-bellied, bald bums with a goatee. Come to find out, they are very intelligent. It seemed that they even apply physics equations to their training. Their training seemed revolutionary to me because I’ve never seen anything like it, but it all made sense to me. After training with Mark under the Westside method for a while my strength increased faster than ever. I quickly became the strongest athlete in my high school. This was no accomplishment to me because I had my eyes set in a bigger level which was state. In the world of sport competitions, in this case power lifting, you need more than a strong heart. You need someone to lead you. And that is exactly what Mark’s training provided for me.
